Ubisoft went all in with this announcement as they released five deep dive trailers highlighting the XDefiant’s gameplay, a game overview, explaining Factions, the game’s maps and modes, and a peek at the game’s seasonal roadmap. Think of factions in this game as classes as each one has its own set of unique abilities to bring to a match. However, if stealth is more your route, going for the Echelon Faction is your best option. XDefiant’s Closed Beta is here bringing fast-paced multiplayer first-person shooter action between factions inspired by different Ubisoft games. You can pick Libertad, Echelon, Phantoms, Cleaners, or DedSec. In total, there are five playable Factions to choose from when you play a match. These factions are based on known factions from Ubisoft’s other franchises: The Cleaners (The Division), Libertad (Far Cry 6), Echelon (Splinter Cell), Phantoms (Ghost Recon Phantoms), and DedSec (Watch Dogs).
